Our Programs
-
Village
A 28-day international camp for 11-year-olds brings together children from 10-12 countries to learn from each other and the world around them. Each delegation consists of two boys and two girls, accompanied by an adult leader. The camp is run by adult staff and supported by junior counselors aged 16-17. It creates a safe and fun environment where children participate in educational, cultural, and recreational activities, fostering lasting friendships and learning how to communicate, cooperate, and live together.
-
Youth Meeting (YM)
An international camp for 12-13 year-olds lasting either 8 or 15 days brings together delegations from eight countries, each consisting of four young people and an adult leader, to learn from each other. The camp is planned and run by adult staff and leaders, focusing on exploring relevant topics, sharing perspectives, and building friendships while having fun. Participants will gain skills and understanding that will help them contribute to their communities.
-
Step Up
A 23-day camp for 14-15 year-olds that encourages youth to take a leading role in planning and organizing activities, focusing on topics such as identity, democracy, or environmental protection. Delegations from ten countries, each consisting of four young people (two girls and two boys) and an adult leader, participate in the camp, which is planned and conducted jointly by adult staff and participants. This program provides opportunities to learn about global issues, develop leadership skills, and apply new knowledge in their communities, while also having fun and building lasting friendships.
-
Seminar
An intensive 21-day camp for 16-17 year-olds, with 24 or 30 participants from various countries, who develop their own agenda to explore global issues through activities and in-depth discussions, under the supervision of international adult staff. This program encourages participants to plan and lead the program, promoting cooperative and creative problem-solving. Living together in the camp helps participants resolve conflicts arising from healthy discussions. The creativity, friendship, and fun ensure that the Seminar Camp experience is lasting and excellent.
-
Mosaic
A program conducted in local communities by CISV for participants of all ages, ranging from one-time events to year-long projects. Mosaic projects are planned and implemented by CISV Chapters using CISV's educational approach, and each project responds meaningfully to local needs and interests. Most projects are designed and carried out in collaboration with partner organizations to enhance the benefits for the local community.
-
Junior Branch (JB)
Groups within CISV where young people take responsibility and work together to achieve common goals. These goals include building an inclusive community, developing leadership skills, and learning through experience. Each Junior Branch (JB) is self-governing and part of a global network that continues to grow and develop. JB focuses on empowering youth to make a positive impact, reflecting CISV's commitment to education and action.
